Innersejuk Distributed Masks To Underprivileged Communities In Derma-A-Mask Operation
Masks have become an important aspect in our lives amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Many are struggling to protect themselves against the virus and it’s tougher for those who are surviving on minimum wages, having to buy masks from time to time at the expense of supporting their families with basic essentials. It’s time we lend a hand and provide a more sustainable solution for these people with non-medical fabric face masks.
The purpose of Derma-A-Mask ‘Buy one, Donate one’ campaign is to help the underprivileged communities who can’t afford to protect themselves from the COVID-19 outbreak, especially during the RMCO period where it is mandatory for everyone to wear a mask when outside of premises or risk getting fined. This initiative also includes those who are homeless, orphans and families living in crowded places who face a higher risk of cross-infection due to lack of protection. For every mask bought, we can help these unfortunate communities to better fend themselves against this pandemic.
Many of our loyal customers shared our passion and joined the cause. Due to this, we have accumulated 1,000 face masks for those in need. With the help of MyCARE, these masks were distributed to the residence of PPR Hicom in Shah Alam. Innersejuk plans to reach out to other PPR communities. The residence of PPR Hicom is the first out of many operations soon to come.
Innersejuk is actively seeking for more non-profit organizations to collaborate with and help those that need our assistance. Together, we can play a part by providing reusable face masks for the underprivileged Malaysians. You can also join the cause to make lives safer for these people by donating a mask today.
